Three understudies from Pakistan surpassed applicants from 45 distinct nations at the Karl Popper Debating Championship, which is one of the biggest secondary school debating competitions on the planet.
The Pakistani group won the whole tournament after six preparatory rounds, three elimination rounds and a final against South Korea. The three members – Zainab Hameed, Azeem Liaquat, and Ahmed Shujaan – were even recorded in the main 10 speakers of the competition.
Zainab, an understudy of Karachi Grammar School, was named the top speaker. Azeem, who learns at Salamat International Campus for Advanced Studies in Lahore, came in second, while Ahmed from Aitchison College came in fifth position.
