Narendra Modi, India’s Prime Minister acknowledged a welcome Friday from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to go to a provincial summit in Islamabad one year from now in what might be his first visit to Pakistan.
According to a statement from both the governments, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reiterated his invitation to Prime Minister Modi to visit Pakistan for the SAARC Summit in 2016. Prime Minister Modi accepted that invitation.
Indian authorities had beforehand declined to affirm Modi’s involvement at the following summit of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), generally attended by pioneers of eight nations in the locale.
While Sharif did participated in Modi’s inauguration in May a year ago, the patriot Indian chief has not pay a visit to Pakistan since coming to power and relations between the two nations have been unenthusiastic as of late.
