Air Chief in Turkey for Anatolian Eagle

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman participated in the Turkish Air Force’s multinational exercise Anatolian Eagle in Konya on Wednesday. He led the PAF contingent by piloting an F-16 jet. The contingent included six jets of the 9th ‘Griffins’ squadron that are presently participating in the event. He was invited by his Turkish counterpart, General Akin Öztürk.

Ambassador of Pakistan Sohail Mahmood was present along with Spanish Air Chiefs and Azerbaijani Air Forces, senior commanders of US Air Force, Royal Air Force UK, German Air Force, and high ranking Turkish generals to observe the Anatolian Eagle multinational exercise.

The Chief of Pakistan Air Force held productive meetings with top Turkish military leadership during his stay in Turkey, and discussed further cooperation in the military field between the two Nations
